Day 1 — Landmarks, Culture & Night Food

Batu Caves

Head there early to beat the heat and crowds. Climb the famous 272 rainbow-colored steps to the Hindu temple inside the limestone caves. Allow 1.5–2 hours.

Perdana Botanical Gardens

A cool, shady walk through KL's green lung — right next to the venue area in Bukit Damansara.

12:30 PM

Lunch: Village Park Restaurant

In Damansara Utama (~10 min from venue). Famous for its nasi lemak with incredibly crispy fried chicken — widely considered the best in KL.

2:00 PM

Rest & Recharge

Head back to the hotel. KL is hot and humid — downtime is essential! If you have energy, visit the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (near the Botanical Gardens, air-conditioned, ~1.5 hours).

6:30 PM

Jalan Alor Street Food

KL's legendary food street comes alive after dark. Must-tries: satay, BBQ chicken wings at Wong Ah Wah, grilled stingray, and cendol (shaved ice with coconut milk and palm sugar).

8:30 PM

Bukit Bintang Evening Walk

Stroll through KL's glitzy shopping and entertainment district. Check out Pavilion KL for a taste of the city's modern side.

Day 2 — Twin Towers, Old KL & Wedding

Petronas Twin Towers & KLCC

Book Skybridge & Observation Deck tickets online in advance (they sell out!). The towers are spectacular from below too — explore KLCC Park and the fountains.

Merdeka Square & Central Market

KL's historic heart where independence was declared in 1957. See the stunning Sultan Abdul Samad Building, then browse Central Market for batik, crafts, and souvenirs.

1:00 PM

Lunch

Grab a roti canai and teh tarik at any nearby mamak stall, or try Chocha Foodstore in Chinatown for modern Malaysian-fusion small plates.

Rest & Get Ready

Head back to your hotel to freshen up and get ready for the big celebration!

Emily & Parth's Wedding

Nightcap in Bangsar

The nearest nightlife neighborhood to the venue. Try Coley cocktail bar or the rooftop bars along Jalan Telawi.

Download the Grab app (SE Asia's Uber). Most rides within the city are RM 10–25 (~$2–6 USD). Super easy and affordable.

KL is hot year-round (30–35°C / 86–95°F) with high humidity. Stay hydrated and plan indoor breaks during the afternoon.

Currency

Malaysian Ringgit (MYR/RM). Roughly RM 3.9 = $1 USD. Cards are widely accepted; ATMs everywhere.

Dress Code

Dress modestly when visiting mosques or temples (cover shoulders and knees). Casual is fine everywhere else.
